Your baby cannot blow his her nose so you need to use a bulb syringe to remove excess mucus.

																	Insert it no more than of an inch into the nose hole. 
																	If your baby starts sniffling again after a while it s okay to try again but don t use the bulb syringe more than three times every day.

																	Repeat the process in each nostril. 
																	Remove the syringe and squeeze the bulb forcefully to expel the mucus into a tissue. 
																	Insert the tip of the bulb syringe into the baby s nostril.

																	Compress the bulb of the syringe to suck out the mucus. 
																	Sterilize the bulb syringe after each use. 
																	Have a bowl of tap water ready to clean the bulb between suctioning attempts. 
																	If your baby is still congested 5 to 10 minutes after you suction you can reapply saline drops and suction again.
